The bible says in Psalm 9:17; The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all nations that forget God. You see it is hard to forget somebody you never knew. We are living in a generation, here in America that is untoward God. What do you mean preacher? A generation that knows nothing about His word, His commandments,His love, or His mercy and grace. We have taken the bible out of our schools along with prayer. The family unit that God created and ordained has been distorted and changed into an abomination in his sight. Take a look around you, in your own town or city.I dare you to find a place where drugs are not prevalent. You can not watch your local news without them running down a list of killings, thefts, or some sexual crime being reported. Turn your TV on, what do you see mostly, sexual immorality being promoted. The sanctity of life is no longer thought of, or we would not have so many unborn children being killed daily in this country.

What is America to do about this destructive course she is on? I must remind those who say they know him, in Revelation 2:4; Jesus said to the church at Ephesus, Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. He has commanded us to go and preach the gospel to all nations. We that are called by His name, are the light and salt in this world. He told the church at Ephesus to repent and do the first works. His words were; or else I will come quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. I asked you the question, has the light gone out here in America? He is the light. The only way back to the light is thru repentance.

A letter was written years ago by my mother, who by occupation did secretarial work. The letter is written as if she was taking dictation. I pray it will be an encouragement to you. Click on these words, The KINGS OFFICE. Our nation needs our prayers.

" Intelligent Design"

The psalmist said; I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. There is something inside us that recognizes God's handiwork. We were created in the image of God. He breathed into us a living soul, and made us unique from the rest of his creation. All life is precious to God. We must understand the sovereignty of God to appreciate life. What do you mean preacher? You and I were known by God before we were ever formed in our mother's womb. Ah you say that is hard to believe, I say you don't believe in the sovereignty of God.

The bible says in Hebrews 11:3; Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. God spoke this world into existence. We have been taught by human education that we evolved, theories in the imaginations of men. God said he breathed the breath of life into us. It is our own sinful, self willed way that keeps us in unbelief. Our soul though is precious to God. John 3:16 says; For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus Christ came to this earth for one sole purpose, to redeem us from our sins. He paid a debt we could not pay. He shed his blood and died upon Calvary's cross that we might go free. He arose the third day and now sit's at the right hand of the Father ready to make intercession for you and I.

Jesus said; Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him , and he with me. You can have fellowship with the God who created heaven and earth, and knew you before you were ever formed. How mind boggling is that! You might say how can I have this fellowship preacher? Romans 10:9 says; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. A simple process of recognizing that your a sinner who needs a Savior, and asking Him to forgive you of your sins, and to come into your heart.

God who is the creator of life, and life is so precious, why do we destroy it? O America, why has she become so sinful by taking the lives of the innocent, the unborn. Psalm 119:89 says; For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. Jesus said; Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. When God said thou shalt not kill, he meant it. I urge you, If you are contemplating this act of abortion, stop for a moment and realize God's sovereignty in this matter. He knows this boy or girl by name. He loves you and cares for you. He and him alone can help you thru this. Psalm 27:1; The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Trust Him today and he will sit your feet on the right path. Please contact us if you need someone to talk to. May God richly bless your heart today.

" Searching for intelligent life"

A recent search was done of potentially habitable solar systems, for signs of radio signals, to see if they could fine radio -emitting intelligent life on earth like planets. Their conclusion was less than one percent of all potentially habitable exoplanets likely to host intelligent life. Their clarification of this finding, less than one in a million stars in the Milky Way currently host radio- emitting civilizations.

Man has always been interested in new things to hear and see. The Apostle Paul faced this on his first trip to Athens, which was the cultural center of Greece. At it's shinning moment in history, Athens was home to the most renowned philosophers in history, including Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. Two other philosophers taught there, Epicurus, founder of the Epicureanism, and Zeno, founder of Stoicism, both were dominant philosophers in that day.

Paul had gone to Athens to wait on Silas and Timothy, to continue on their missionary journey. The bible tells us that Paul's spirit was stirred in him when he saw the whole city given over to idolatry. He began to dispute with the Jews in the synagogue, and with religious people, and in the market place daily with those that met with him. He preached Jesus Christ, him crucified, and risen again. This is where Paul encountered the Epicureans and Stoics. They called him a babbler the bible says, which means seed picker. They believed him to be a amateur philosopher, but Paul was drawing his knowledge and wisdom from Almighty God. They took him to a place called Mars Hill, so they could hear of this new doctrine that Paul was preaching. The bible says in Acts 17:21; For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.

Paul begin to preach to them about the Unknown God they had inscribed on an altar. He declared to them the one true God who made heaven and earth. He told them God didn't dwell in temples made by men's hands. The bible says in Isaiah 66:1; Thus saith the LORD, the heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? Paul told them God had created  all nations from one blood, meaning we all came from Adam, who God created. Paul went onto say, God had determined the times or seasons before appointed, and bounds of their habitations. God in his infinite wisdom and knowledge is in control of the rise and fall of nations, and who he lets rule those nations, even sets the boundaries for those nations. Paul was speaking to men of a nation that had it's shinning moment in history, before the Roman Empire came on the scene. King Nebuchadnezzar, who's kingdom had grown great in his day, was brought low by the Almighty God, because of the words he had spoken one day while admiring his palace and city. Jesus Christ said in Matthew 12:35; for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. The pride in Nebuchadnezzar's heart came out that day when the most High took away his kingdom for seven years. The king had spoke these words, is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and the honour of my majesty? The bible says a voice fell from heaven and spoke to the king. The kingdom is departed from thee.

Nebuchadnezzar would live the next seven years, like a wild beast. His body would even take on the appearance of a wild beast. The hair on his own body would grow to a length that was described to look like eagle's feathers. His nails would grow to look like bird claws. This man was brought low by the Almighty God. The bible says when he came to his senses, when  understanding had returned to him, he blessed th most High. This was his confession in Daniel 4:34; I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation.

The Apostle Paul was conveying the same message, that the most High rules in the kingdom of men. Paul reminded them that in Him we live and have our being. God has given us a living soul, because he has breathed the breath of life into us, when he took and made Adam out of the dust of the ground. Why do we search for intelligent life? Why do we try to create our own knowledge  about the creation of life?

Mankind has falling from God's grace. What do you mean preacher? From the day Adam and Eve chose to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and break God's commandment, they have gone their own way, not acknowledging their Creator, who gives to them the breath of life. They have chosen the evil way of knowledge, to create their own philosophy, to create their own religions, their own way to life eternal. Mankind is always looking for some new thing to occupy his heart and mind except the one true God. Romans 1:28 says; And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. Reprobate means depravity, and depravity comes in many forms. What ever has you in this state, you have given yourself wholly to it.

King Nebuchadnezzar was given over to pride in his heart. He did not acknowledge his true Creator, but gods that he and his countrymen had created in their own imaginations. The same with the Epicureans and Stoics, within themselves they were proud of their achievements. They truly believed their way of philosophy on life was the true way, or did they? The bible tells us the eye is never satisfied, so as the bible says, the Athenians and foreigners did nothing but spend there time telling or hearing some new thing, and their thing was the philosophy on life. Philosophy is the study or science of the truths or principles underlying all knowledge and being(or reality). The bible says the fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge.

The unsaved man does not want to retain God in his knowledge. Why preacher? This is the reason, John 3:19 says; And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. Jesus Christ is that light, that came into this world. John 3:16 says; For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Paul preached Jesus Christ and him crucified and risen again that day at Mars Hill. The bible says some mocked him, some said we will hear this another time, and some believed. My prayer for you my friend is that you will believe and escape the judgement of those who have not retained the knowledge  of God. What do you mean preacher? The intelligent life you seek is within your reach. Jesus said; Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man here my voice, and open the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him, and he with me. You my friend might say, what must I do to be saved? Romans 10:9 says; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. He paid our sin debt that we could not pay. He said, if the Son shall set you free ye shall be free indeed. He is the intelligent life you search for.

The word bruised or daka in the Hebrew means, beat to pieces, break in pieces, crush, destroy, or smite. Jesus Christ, the Son of God died a excruciating death. He, when taken to th High priest from the garden of Gethsemane, was beaten. He was then brought before Pontius Pilate, where the soldiers whipped him, beat him with their hands, mocked and spat on him. The Lord Jesus Christ by this time, being led up Calvary's hill, with a crown of thorns on his head, was a bloody mess. This was the Roman way of crucifixion, to demoralize those they crucified.

What does this mean preacher? I say to you there is more to this than meets the eye. Jesus when he hung on the cross said; Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. The  people that passed by that day to look upon him taunted him by saying, come down from the cross, if you be the Son of God. We will believe, if you will come down. The Chief priest, the scribes and elders of the Jewish faith, the Roman soldiers, and no doubt countless others who had seen and heard about the miracles Jesus had done were saying, why want he save himself if he is really the Son of God? There were those there that day, although very painful to watch, knew in their heart why he could not come down from that cross. He could not come down because he loved you and I so much. You are his creation and He does not want to see you die in your sins. He gave his life as a sacrifice for yours, so you might have life and have more abundantly.

The bible says the Roman centurion and those with him feared greatly and said, Truly this was the Son of God, when they witnessed the earthquake and the things that happened that day. John 3:16 says; For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. He was truly bruised for our sins.

One issue that is at the forefront of our society today, especially here in America, is same sex marriage. The issue has drawn a line in the sand between those opposed and those for. The change in the military policy on gays, has emboldened the gay community, and we are recently seeing more athletes coming out and saying they are gay. I am not writing to debate this issue with know one, but to write too those who might read, to give God's perspective on this matter. You might say, how do you know God's perspective on this? John 3:19 say's; And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

The real issue is God has called homosexuality a sin. The Word of God in the old testament call's it an abomination, which means something morally disgusting. Jesus Christ is that light that came into this world to set us free from the bondage of sin. The more we resist or reject his word, the more we become depraved in our thinking. What do you mean preacher? You might at one time have thought about God, but by resisting to come to grips with the truth of His word, the deeper the enslavement to sin becomes. There is a point God turns you over to that enslavement. Romans 1:28; And even as they did not retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.(KJV). This means God did not create you to be this way.

He does not want his creation to be enslaved to sin. This is why he sent his Son. John 3:16; For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.(KJV). If you are reading this blog, and you are one who is enslaved by sin, I urge you today to come to the light of His word. Do not let this sin that has you enslaved, keep you separated from the love of God eternally.
